Am I missing something? Is this guy the new "It" boy for fall?
It's Twilight actor Robert Pattinson, and supposedly he's the one to look out for this season.
Frankly, I don't get the appeal. He looks like a total stoner, and his hair is a mess in every picture I've ever seen him in. So much so, I bet the people at Hard Rock made him cover up his crazy fro with that stupid stocking cap. Which in turn made him sweat like Sherri Shepherd during a Trivial Pursuit game! Hence the ferocious pit-stains above.
Perhaps my lack of excitement over Mister Pattinson is due to the fact that I don't read anything anymore that doesn't appear on the side of a carton or a computer screen.
Apparently they still print these things called books, and even more extraordinary is that young people buy them! Twilight the movie starring Robert Pattinson came from one such thing.
Has anyone read the book? Is the book really scary? Maybe he is just in character, but when I look at him, he scares the crap out of me.

Oh, Beej. So sorry you haven't had time to read the Twilight books! I don't know what kinds of "literature" you are in to, but this is totally NOT the scary kind! Very high-schooly, romantic to the max. You would probably looooove it! Every generation has to fall in love with Vampires, no? On the day of the movie release in our area, there will be a "Twilight Prom" at the theatre. Hundreds of vampire wannabes in wedding dresses swooning over this guy!
Edward is dreamy in the book. I don't see it in this actor. Not a great cast.

Get them, get them all and fall in LOVE! Yes they can be a bit sappy but then again so is Days of Our Lives! I myself was never a big Edward fan in the books, Jacob the werewolf.. now there's a MAN. Too bad they picked a teeny tiny boy to play his role. Here's hoping Taylor Lautner can grow up.. fast!

Twilight has a way of casting a spell over you. It takes you back to first loves and I thought Kristen and Rob were very well cast for the parts of Bella and Edward. I just recently saw the DVD and I really loved the music - Bella's Lullabye was especially haunting and somewhat sad - it captured the melamcholy, longing feeling protrayed by
Edward in the movie. I think Rob has a bright future as long as he stays grounded and can hold on to his identity as a person.
