1. The Economy.
If you make less than a quarter of a million dollars a year, then you will receive a larger tax break with Obama's tax plan than you would John McCain's. Despite the fact that McCain wants to give significant tax cuts to the wealthiest 5% of Americans, multiple celebrities who make several million dollars a year have endorsed Barack Obama. More importantly, financial genius and stock market guru Warren Buffet has endorsed Barack Obama.
2. Education.
No Child Left Behind is a failed Republican educational policy that has robbed a generation of public school children of the ability to think critically. It forces teachers to teach multiple choice test questions, rather than spend time teaching problem solving and deductive reasoning. John McCain continues to support this failed policy. Barack Obama, on the other hand, has called NCLB "False advertising" and is in favor of reforming it.
3. Health Care.
Medical procedures are the number one reason why people declare bankruptcy. Under Barack Obama's plan, every American will have health care extended to them. If you have an existing health care coverage, your cost will go down. If you currently do not have coverage, you will not be turned away for any pre-existing condition.
4. Iraq.
America spends $10 billion a month in the war in Iraq which has no clear objective or goal. Saddam Hussein has already been captured, tried, convicted, and executed. John McCain is willing to stay in Iraq for the next "hundred years." But to what end? The sooner Iraq becomes independent from American occupation, the better American relations will be with the rest of the world. Barack Obama has made it clear that he wants to bring an end to the war in Iraq.
5. Sarah Palin.
David Frum, Republican and former Bush speech writer, said "I think Sarah Palin was a huge mistake." Compare her record to Barack Obama's running mate Joseph Biden. Senator Biden has served in Congress for 36 years after winning his Senate seat in 1972. Retired Army General and Republican Colin Powell, former Secretary of State, said Palin "is not ready to be President, which is the job of the Vice President." John McCain has been battling melanoma (the deadliest form of skin cancer) since the early 1990's. He is 72 years old and has had four melanomas removed. If he were to die in office, Sarah Palin would be the leader of the United States. That's a gamble America should not be willing to take.

Great list! Good job.
It's amazing how attitudes change over a year. Last November, I would have argued against you on each point. But now, I would agree on each point, particularly #4. I used to say "We don't have money for universal health care," but if we have $10 billion for Iraq, I suppose I'm wrong.
I would totally vote for him..but I can't... WAHHHH!!
I agree, number 4 makes everyone outraged and makes everyone want to vote for Obama more. I have a good friend who is absolutely insane about politics and he's told me so many things that make me want to vote Obama.
Universal Healthcare is a hard sell. I know some pretty liberal democrats who don't think we should have to pay for everyone's healthcare, but this country is smart enough, rich enough, and powerful enough to figure out some way to make it easier for more people to get affordable health insurance or get access to free healthcare. The middle class may suffer the most because they make too much to qualify for free benifits but their employers are cutting benifits or increasing the price and they make too little to be able to afford to purchase insurance for themselves or have to try to pay their medical bills out of pocket.
Go Obama!
