In accordance with the words of the prophets, the American Idol finale shall feature two Davids.
But who cares! We all expected that. I want to talk about the real shocker from the results show: Fantasia.
Seriously, what in the world was that? Was she high on coke or something? Did she and Paula go out partying before the show?
The music, the dancing, the singing. It was all a bright red flaming mess. Just like her hair.
I was so freaked out. I was literally scared.
Just watch the video and look for the expression on Simon's face towards the end (2:57). That is exactly what my face was doing at the same time.
Shock and awe.

It was a huge mess....I had nightmares about it! Someone needs to tell Fantasia that "No, you don't have to dye your hair the color of our lipstick."

Attack of the robot chicken!! I couldn't believe it either.
If that performance was her very first tryout for American Idol, there would be no way in hell the judges would pass her through to Hollywood. She'd be one of the delusional rejects featured during audition week, dubbed the "crazy chicken lady."
I think the powers that be allowed this weird performance to boost ratings. It was a big joke.
I have no answer for you Beej. Simon's face was pretty priceless though!

I could hear Simon saying to himself that 'this was the most bloody frightening thing I've ever seen'.
It was quite disturbing and I can't understand all the hollering, the way she was bent over the whole song, and that hair!
