Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, made it on this year's Best and Worst dressed celebrities list produced at this time each year by Mr. Blackwell.
Mr. Blackwell (sort of like Cher, only known by one name) has been making his Best and Worst Top Ten lists for 48 consecutive years!
And Mrs. Beckham FINALLY made it to NUMBER ONE! Only one little detail...she's on the BAD list.
Unlike her impeccably dressed husband, she is a total train-wreck in heels. Imagine an anorexic Pamela Anderson with a British accent, and you'd be close.
Mr. Blackwell called her choice of outfits in 2007, "skinny-mini monstrosities."
What Mr. Blackwell sees as a monstrosity, I see as camp for campiness's sake. Posh knows she is a parody of herself. She is a Spice Girl, for heaven's sake!
She knows she is little more than David Beckham's live-action accessory. He is the star. She is Stedman to his Oprah.
So I say, good for you, girl. No press is bad press.
